Jacob Piller is a filmmaker, director, and editor. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Film and Television and a minor in Sound Design. He approaches every film he makes with a nostalgic spin.

In his spare time he enjoys experimenting with 8MM and 16MM film, listening to tapes on his Walkman, and picking up tunes on the piano by ear.

Children dream of growing up and becoming adults; they think it is the only way to achieve limitless freedom. It is only when we become older that we look back and appreciate the carefree lifestyle we once had.

In my films I aim to highlight the nostalgia and adventure from the past. My curiosities about the past inform my filmmaking as well as my own personal experiences. My goal is to bring the audience back to a time of innocence where they can be distracted from reality.
